Three arrested for auto-thefts

NEW DELHI: Three young men have been arrested by the North-East Delhi police for alleged involvement in several cases of auto-theft. Five motorcycles and two scooters have allegedly been recovered. A police team conducting a routine vehicle check at Ganga Vihar arrested Khalid (19) and Abid (24) this past week. During interrogation, the two purportedly told the police that they had been stealing vehicles for over an year. Later one of their accomplices, Akbar, was also arrested at their instance.
