Sirsa: Eight persons have been booked for allegedly making fake land deals on the basis of forged documents, police said on Sunday. The eight persons were booked on court orders. Niranjan Singh, a resident of village Thehri Mohar Singh, filed a complaint in a court against seven locals, accusing them of destroying his standing crops on the basis of a fake deed of his land. In another case, one Rajkumar, a resident of village Chak V (Fazilka), filed a complaint in the court wherein he alleged that one Shiv Shambhu sold his polt on the basis of fake document. The police have registered a criminal case against the accused.
