Jalandhar: The Jalandhar Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested a person, wanted in several cases of attempt to murder, from Himachal Pradesh’s Amb district. Acting on a tip off that Raja Saipura is hiding in a lodge in Chintapurni temple area, a special team arrested him from the lodge, where he was staying with his wife. “Several attempts were made earlier to nab Saipuria, who was wanted in several cases, but he managed to give a slip to the police,” Superintendent of Police S. K. Kalia said. Three aides of the accused were still absconding, Mr. Kalia said.
