CAT quashes dismissal order

New Delhi: Citing flaws in departmental inquiry, the Central Administrative Tribunal has quashed the dismissal orders of a Delhi government official saying “the misconduct imputed to him could not have been committed single-handedly”. A Tribunal bench, consisting of Vice-Chairman Justice M Ramachandran and member Neena Ranjan observed, “we are rather distressed by noticing that the allegation was that with the connivance of the officers of the department .”
