Baby holds talks with managements

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister for Education M.A. Baby on Sunday expressed the confidence that issues relating to admission of students in self-financing professional colleges next academic year would be settled within a month’s time. He was talking to media persons on the sidelines of a meeting here with the representatives of self-financing college managements.

He said the government had requested the managements to give their proposals within 10 days. President of the private self-financing engineering colleges G.P.C. Nair said the discussion was “quite creative.” Christian managements did not participate in the meeting.
