Doctors to present special pay proposal

KOCHI: The Kerala Government Medical Officers’ Association State committee, which met here on Sunday, drew up a proposal for special pay that the State government had accepted following Kerala High Court directions on ending the doctors’ strike. The proposal will be presented to the government on Monday. The court, on Friday, asked the doctors to withdraw the strike, and directed the government to consider their demands, one of which was converting the allowances declared into special pay. — Staff Reporter
