DAVANGERE: The State Bharatiya Janata Party executive meeting will be held here from December 10 to 12. Senior leaders of the party, including Yeshwant Sinha, H.N. Ananthkumar and B.S. Yeddyurappa are expected to take part in the three-day conclave. According to a communique issued by the BJP office here today, office-bearers of all the district units of the BJP will meet on the first day to discuss the strategy the BJP should follow for the up-coming Assemblypolls and other related matters. Presidents, Vice-Presidents and General Secretaries of all the districts will participate on the first day of the meeting. Mr. Yeshwant Sinha, vice-president of the BJP, will inaugurate the meeting on December 11. The meeting will take stock of the present political situation and discuss how to face the Assembly elections. It would also chalk out ways and means to inform the people about the BJP’s role in many pro-people programmes implemented by the previous BJP-JD (S) coalition government. The three-day programme will be under the supervision of the State president Sadananda Gowda, and Vice-President and Davangere MP Siddeshwar. V.S. Acharya, K.S. Eshwarappa, D.H. Shankarmuthy, S.A. Ravindranath and Jagadish Shettar are among the other leaders who will take part in the event.
