MLC tells teachers to achieve 100 per cent results in schools
Staff Reporter
KHAMMAM: Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, MLC, state co-convenor of the AP School Teachers Federation (APSTF) on Sunday called upon the high school teachers to achieve 100 per cent results in their respective schools. Inaugurating the district-level conference of the Federation here, he said the teachers were expected to give out their best and complete the syllabus well in advance giving the students appearing for the tenth class examination sufficient time for revision and preparation.
Mr. Bhatti emphasised the need for due exposure to communication skills. Students from the English medium have been doing well in higher education and they were more successful in campus interviews.
He pointed out that the private managements were successful in giving better results than the Government schools. He said headmasters must shoulder the responsibility of making effective use of the infrastructure facilities provided to their schools.
The Government schools were better equipped with qualified teachers. Their grievances would be taken care of by the Government and the teachers in turn should share the responsibility of shaping up the non-achievers in their schools. AP School Teachers Federation state leaders Katti Nehru and Congress leaders Ailuri Venkateswar Reddy and Kortta Sitaramulu were among those who spoke.
