Janapada Sammelanam on Dec. 23

Kakinada: The Poorvandhra branch of Samskrutha Bharati is organising a `Janapada Sammelanam’ at Sree Peetham here on December 23 to promote the usage of Sanskrit language, thereby protecting its identity. Sanskrit pundits from all parts of the State will participate in the event which comprises an exhibition on the topic Science and Technology in Sanskrit. The meeting will be inaugurated by Sree Peetham founder Sri Paripoornananda Saraswati Swami.

Main aim

Announcing these details in a press conference here on Sunday, Samskrutha Bharati State chapter president D Prabhakar Sarma said the usage of Sanskrit would instil cultural values and it was the aim of similar events being organised by Samskrutha Bharati throughout the country.

T Srinivasa Rao, Srihari Mannar, YV Parasuram and others were present in the press meet.
