Cernada helps Fighting Four win
NEW DELHI: Santiago Cernada fired four goals as Fighting Four defeated Cavaliers five-and-a-half goals to 4 to win the Ratanada Cup four-goal polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo grounds here on Sunday.
Cavaliers opened early through Bhupendra Singh, but Cernada converted two 60-yard penalties for Fighting Four, which started with half-a-goal on handicap.
Bhanupratap Singh scored the lone goal in the second chukker, as Fighting Four kept up the pace of scoring. Bhupendra Singh fired two quick goals in the final chukker, but Cernada kept Fighting Four ahead as the Cavaliers lost out.
Angad Singh was the other scorer for Cavaliers. — Principal Correspondent
