KOCHI: VR-5, comprising players from Tamil Nadu and Kerala, won the team of four duplicate event in the Lotus Club bridge tournament which concluded at the Lotus Club here on Sunday evening. Palakkad’s M.V. Rao’s topped the Board ‘A’ match while S.R.S. Sastry and C.K. Sreedhar won the pairs event in the two-day tournament. K. Ranjit, Lotus Club President, gave away the prizes. Final placings: Team of four duplicate: 1. VR-5 (T.R. Krishnan, Srikrishnan, S.R.C. Sekar, Paul Abraham, Afshar Majeed, 71 VPs), 2. Indradhanush, Tamil Nadu (S.R.S. Sastry, E. Joseph Raj, Sreedhar, B. Ramakrishnan, 43 VPs), 3. Triplex, Kottayam (Easo Mohan George, M.M. Paul, J. Joseph, Sajan K. Thomas, K.G. Ajith, 35 VPs), 4.
