Bid to retain talent in teaching profession

NEW DELHI: At a meeting of the Federation of Central Universities Teachers’ Associations (FEDCUTA) held on the North Campus of Delhi University this past week, it was decided to vigorously pursue the issue of attracting and retaining talent in the teaching profession with the University Grants Commission.

“To attract and retain talent in the higher education system so that it can deliver better, it is essential to create conditions for academic pursuit,” said FEDCUTA and Delhi University Teachers’ Association president Aditya Narayan Misra.
