Woman naxalite taken to Andhra Pradesh

CHENNAI: The Andhra Pradesh police on Sunday took Mary (22), an alleged naxalite who was arrested on Chennai’s outskirts a few days ago, to their State on a prisoner-on-transit warrant. According to a senior police officer, the woman was wanted in connection with cases pending against her in the neighbouring State. She was arrested by the Tamil Nadu ‘Q’ Branch police on Thursday at Minjur. — Special Correspondent
