Protest against deportation

Toronto: Supporters of a paraplegic Sikh, who will be deported to India on Monday after being denied asylum in Canada, rallied in front of immigration offices to protest his impending deportation.

Laibar Singh, 48, received the deportation order on Thursday, after his appeal to stay on humanitarian grounds was refused. — PTI
