Karnataka meets Mumbai in semifinals
VISAKHAPATNAM: Karnataka will take on Mumbai while Maharashtra will clash with Delhi in the four-day semifinals of the all-India under-22 cricket tournament, for the C.K. Nayudu Trophy, being held here.
While Karnataka beat Uttar Pradesh by four wickets, Delhi and Maharashtra drew their matches against Hyderabad and Bengal respectively.
The scores: Uttar Pradesh 346 and 145 lost to Karnataka 142 and 353 for six.
Hyderabad 263 and 433 for five decl. (Ronald Rodricks 127, Mohd. Ahmed Shakir 102, Vijay Goud 55) drew with Delhi 520 and 48 for one.
Maharashtra 305 and 259 for seven (Vaibhav Irabatti 99) drew with Bengal 255.
