Rupesh had a 240-point break in men’s billiards


HYDERABAD: Anuja Chandra won the big points to get the better of Meenal Thakur 76-73, 41-75, 77-30, 76-22 in the final of the women’s billiards event in the senior National billiards and snooker championship at the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Indoor Stadium (Yousufguda) here on Sunday.

In men’s senior billiards, the highlight of the day was the 240-point break by reigning world champion Rupesh Shah who was in his element against Anish Parikh of Jharkhand during his 618-178 win.
