Five arrested, sandalwood seized

VIZIANAGARAM: The Two Town police have arrested five persons and seized sandalwood from them. The tribals from Paduva near Araku had been felling sandalwood trees for the past five moths and reportedly transporting the wood to Kolkota, said SI V. Chandrasekhar on Monday. The arrested persons Madhu Gollari, Kasiram Koda, Basudev Koda, Abul Sukri and Sitaram Sukri were being produced in court, the SI added. — Correspondent
