Staff Reporter

ADILABAD: Making it a tale with a happy ending, eight-month-old Sunny, who was kidnapped from his home at Mochigalli in Adilabad on Monday morning, was found abandoned in bushes in Nirmal town in the evening. Following an alert by Adilabad One Town police Sub Inspector L. Jeevan Reddy, road checks were set up at all the points in the district from where the kidnapper could have escaped. Unable to make an exit, the kidnapper is believed to have abandoned the baby in bushes. Sunny was given a medical check and found to be in good health.

V. Sairam and Savitri of Mochigalli in Adilabad had complained that Krishna, a construction labourer had kidnapped the baby. The accused was working at the house alloted to the couple under Indiramma scheme.
