Congress expels Himachal rebel for six years

NEW DELHI: The Disciplinary Action Committee of the Congress has expelled All-India Congress Committee’s co-opted member Natha Singh from the party for six years.
The action against Mr. Natha Singh came after he contested election against the official candidate Chandra Shekhar from the Dharampur constituency in Himachal Pradesh, after having been denied the party ticket, said senior Congress leader Motilal Vora, who is on the committee.
Bhajan Lal issue
The panel asked the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee to give full details of the alleged anti-party activities of Congress leader Bhajan Lal and Dharampal Malik and Rajesh Khamboj. Mr. Bhajan Lal has recently floated a new party.
