Held on charge of running brothel
The Anti Goonda Squad (AGS) of the City Police nabbed a couple on the charges of running a brothel in the city on Monday.
The police said A. Prasad, 29, and his wife A. Swapna, 27, both natives of Mudinepalli, were arrested while they were coming to the city in a Maruti car around 5 p.m. They were charged with roping in K. Nagamani, 23, a native of Mudinepalli, as a sex worker. The duo used to live in a house near SRR College in Machavaram. Swapna was arrested under similar charge by the Patamata police some time ago. The AGS handed over the accused to Machavaram police for further action, police said.
