Four killed in road accident in Karnataka

HYDERABAD: Four members of a family from the city were killed in a road accident near Belgaum in Karnataka on Sunday.
The victims were identified as -- G.V. Krishna Rao, 65, a retired engineer of Singareni Colleries in Godavarikhani, his son-in-law S. Venkateswara Rao and his granddaughters -- Saheja and Akshita.
The retired engineer, along with his family members, went to Shirdi by train from city. From there, they hired a private vehicle to reach Bangalore since they could not secure train tickets. The vehicle met with an accident near Belgaum.
