Tributes paid to Rajaji

NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee paid floral tributes at the portrait of C. Rajagopalachari, first Governor-General of Independent India, in the Central Hall of Parliament House here on Monday, on the occasion of his 128th birthday.

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha L.K. Advani, Union Ministers Pranab Mukherjee, P. Chidambaram, Mani Shankar Aiyar, B.K. Handique, and G.K. Vasan, and member of Parliament V. Narayanaswamy were among other dignitaries who paid their floral tributes.
