Walavalkar signs off in style

Kolhapur: Mumbai’s Ameya Walavalkar of Team Mohite’s Racing (Kolhapur) signed off in style, winning both the INKC world formula seniors’ races in the fifth and final round of the MRF-MAI senior Indian National Karting Championships (INKC) at the Mohite’s Racing Academy here on Sunday.

The 26-year-old Walavalkar finished with 216 points for his fourth National title.

Bangalore’s Speed Rayo Racing’s Nikhil Kashyap, with 120 points, took the National title in the INKC junior category.

Pune’s Abha Mankar finished second with 65, followed by Vikas Anand (48).
