Life imprisonment for killing wife

Sangareddy: The district Second Additional Judge Ch. Ramesh Babu has sentenced Padakanti Mallapa of Fasalwadi to life imprisonment for killing his wife Sivaleela. The judge, delivering his judgment on Tuesday, also slammed a fine of Rs. 500 and two years of jail term for trying to conceal the murder. —Staff Reporter
