Dharna for cards

Belgaum: The workers of Channamma Nagar Block Congress Samiti on Tuesday staged a demonstration in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office to protest against the delay in distribution of ration cards.

Led by samiti president Bhojappa B. Hajeri, the workers converged from Channamma Nagar and from several other areas to join the protest. A memorandum was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner stating that it was more than a year since the survey of beneficiaries was done .
