CHITTOOR: The District Telugu Desam Party will organise Praja Chaitanya yatras from December 13 to 27 to enlighten people about the lapses of the Congress ruled State Government said V.Surendra Kumar, president district publicity committee. Addressing a press conference along with the district vice president Eswar Rao here on Tuesday he said that the yatras would be conducted in all 5 Assembly constituencies in the district in which state and local leaders would participate. Focus on failuresThe failure of the Chief Minister in fulfilling the promises held out to the people before the elections and after assuming power would be highlighted besides the implementation of anti-people policies and corruption at all levels. In addition to this the Government negligence in the implementation of welfare measures towards the poor will also be enlightened during the yatras. The unbearable conditions in the welfare hostels which cause hardships will also be informed to the people. The people were asked to inform their problems in their areas in order to bring pressure on the government to solve them, Surendrar Kumar said. Town president Dayaram participated.
