BANGALORE: A four-member official team from the Centre will arrive in the State on Wednesday for a two-day visit to the flood affected Gadag and Dharwad districts. They will be here to assess the damage caused to crops and infrastructure. The team led by V.N. Gaur, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Home Affairs, will arrived at the State capital in the morning and leave for Hubli soon after. The officials will visit flood affected villages of Ron taluk on Wednesday evening. Assess damageOn Thursday, the team will assess the damage caused to corps in Dharwad district, said an official press release. S.K. Thegginamani, deputy secretary, Revenue Department of the State government, will accompany the team.
