Protest against education policy

KOTTAYAM: Various managements of aided schools have formed a coordination committee to spearhead their fight against the new education policy of the State government.

The move to usurp the powers and rights of the managements and to hand over the control of these institutions to local bodies would be opposed at any cost, said a release by the coordination committee said here on Tuesday.

Kutty Ahmed Kutty, MLA, will be the chairman of the committee; C.C. Sajan, vice-chairman; K.V. Ravindranathan Nair will be the convener and Jose Karivelickal, general secretary.
