JD(U) has no objection, says Sharad Yadav

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Janata Dal (United), a key constituent of the National Democratic Alliance, on Tuesday said it had “no objection” to the Bharatiya Janata Party projecting L.K. Advani as its prime ministerial candidate.

“It is not a problem for us. We are governed by the national agenda, and that’s our only priority at the national level,” JD (U) president Sharad Yadav told journalists here.

The BJP was the biggest constituent in the NDA, and it was for that party to take a decision, and Mr. Advani’s choice was but natural.
