Thiruvananthapuram wins athletics team title

KOZHIKODE: Thiruvananthapuram, with 117 points, won the athletics team championship in the State Mini Games, which concluded here on Tuesday. Kottayam (104) and Kozhikode (103) finished second and third respectively.

Thiruvananthapuram also emerged as the overall champion in the events conducted here over the last two days — athletics, badminton, basketball, hockey and archery — ahead of Kozhikode and Palakkad.
