5-wicket win for Thakkar

DHARWAD: N.K. Thakkar High School scored a five wicket win over New English School, Hubli in the KSCA’s Dharwad zone under-17 inter- schools cricket tournament on Tuesday.

The scores: New English 60 in 20.4 overs (Vishal Parek three for three) lost to N.K. Thakkar 61 for five in 11.4 overs (S. Fazal three for 22).

SSK 114 in 35.3 overs lost to LEMHS 117 for one in 19.3 overs (Amish Patil 50 not out).

KPES 78 in 16.5 overs (Nadeem Kaji three for 23) lost to Anglo Urdu 82 for six in 19.4 overs. — Staff Correspondent
