Suraj shines

VISAKHAPATNAM: Suraj’s all-round show was the highlight of Mehar CC’s six-wicket win over Trinadhapuram in a first round match of the 22nd D. Sekhar Rao memorial cricket tournament at the Hindustan Shipyard College ground here on Tuesday.

The scores: Trinadhapuram CC 116 in 19.1 overs (Suraj four for 29) lost to Mehar CC 122 for four in 17.3 overs.

Kendriya Vidyalaya II 148 for nine in 20 overs (Avinash 41) bt TSR and TBK College 129 in 19.4 overs (Srinu 43).

RKCC 119 in 20 overs (Kartik four for 18) bt Hindustan Shipyard College 114 in 20 overs (Ravi four for 19). — Special Correspondent
