Schoolgirl kidnapped

WARANGAL: M. Manisha, 11, was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified persons while she was returning from school on Monday evening.
According to the Intejargung Sub Inspector of Police B. Ravinder, the girl, studying in Class V of the Standard Public School, hails from Kashibugga. She left the school at 4.10 p.m. on Monday. At 4.30 p.m., the girl’s father, M. Sadanandam, a trader at the agricultural market, received a call from unidentified persons who claimed to have kidnapped his daughter. They repeatedly made calls demanding Rs. 25 lakh in return for his daughter.
He immediately rushed to the police station and lodged a complaint. The police registered a complaint and are investigating. Mr. Ravinder suspects the role of his relatives.
