Conference on ‘Psychology and cinema’ from December 14

BANGALORE: The Department of Psychology in Christ College is organising a national conference on ‘Psychology and Cinema’ from December 14 to 16.

The theme of the conference is titled “Exploring the psyche on and off screen”.

The conference promises to be an avenue for interaction with an interdisciplinary academia. Some of the concepts being explored in the conference include cultural psyche and cinema, traditional and contemporary film culture, and sexuality in cinema.

The speakers are Sudhir Kakar, Ashok Nagpal and K.G. George. A film festival will be held on December 14.

The last date for registration for the conference is December 15.
