Plea for Flag Day donations

KARUR: Collector T.N. Venkatesh has urged citizens to contribute liberally to Flag Day collection drive to exceed the target of Rs. 10.5 crore set for the current year. During 2006-07, the district had netted a collection of Rs. 10.88 lakh as against the target of Rs. 10 lakh for which Mr. Venkatesh thanked the contributors .
