Malkangiri: Three security personnel of the elite Special Operation Group (SOG) were injured, one of them critically, when a landmine they were trying to defuse exploded in naxalite-hit Kalimela area near here today. The jawans were trying to defuse claymore mines laid by naxalites when the explosion took place, injuring three of them, SP , S K Gajbhiye said. Of them two were taken to Visakhapatnam by an Indian Navy helicopter for better treatment. - PTI
