MADURAI: The water level in the Periyar dam on Tuesday stood at 127.1 feet (136 feet) with an inflow of 311 cusecs and a discharge of 1,541 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 58.96 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 1,406 cusecs and a discharge of 1,591 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 6,478 mcft.
