BELLARY: Babulal Jain, member of the National Rail Users’ Consultative Council (NRUCC), has urged the Chairman of the Railway Board to improve railway infrastructure and amenities in the State. He said that new trains should be introduced between Chennai and Vasco via Bellary and Hospet. Mr. Jain, in a memorandum submitted to the chairman last week, asked him to divert the Chennai-Vasco da Gama Express and the Chennai-Hubli Express via Renigunta, Guntakal, Bellary, Hospet and Gadag, which would benefit passengers and industrialists in the region.
