Motorcycles recovered
The Gopalapuram police on Tuesday recovered nine stolen motorcycles after arresting a teenager Raj Kumar. A resident of Chatrinaka, Kumar allegedly used to steal parked bikes in and around Secunderabad with the help of his accomplice, Sanjeev, who is still at large.
Techie killed in accident
A software professional, Rakesh Ranjan, 25, was killed when a tipper hit the motorbike he was riding on road no. 36 of Jubilee Hills on Tuesday. He was returning to his house in Kukatpally from office.
Motorcyclist killed
A motorcyclist, Satyanarayana Chary, 45, was killed after a military van hit him at Bowenpally on Monday night. A resident of Borabanda, the victim used to make and sell idols on the footpath.
Housewife ends life
A housewife, Sarita, 20, who got married nine months ago, ended her life by hanging at Medar Basthi in Musheerabad on Tuesday. Sarita’s parents alleged that harassment for dowry drove their daughter to suicide, the police said.
