Cartridge shells found

Kolkata: Several cartridge shells were found close to a mound of earth suspected to be a grave in the Parulbari area of Maheshpur in Nandigram on Tuesday. The shells, 23 in all, have been handed over to the local police by Central Reserve Police Force authorities.

The State CID is being asked to investigate the matter. The mound of earth is to be dug up to determine whether any body or human remains are concealed.
