Five-day mega health camp from Dec. 15

Amalapuram: Utilizing one-time funds for conducting a Mega Health Camp in his constituency, Amalapuram MP G.V. Harshakumar has planned five-day health camp here in GMC Balayogi Stadium from December 15 to 19.
Speaking to The Hindu here on Wednesday, he said expert doctors from AIIMS and corporate hospitals from Delhi and Hyderabad were expected to participate in the camp. He said that free medical checkup, free lodging and boarding would be provided for people coming from different parts of the Assembly constituencies. He said serious cases would be referred to Corporate Hospitals for surgeries, if necessary. He said that in all 14 expert doctors would conduct the camp.
Apart from medical camp, the MP said Bharat Nirman Utsav will be conducted to give publicity to the Central and State Government schemes. About 65 stalls are going to be set up to give publicity in the exhibition and Rs. 10 crores worth loans will be distributed to DWCRA women in this mela.
