PUDUCHERRY: The Pradesh Congress Committee chief, P. Shanmugam, on Monday said that the Ministers in the Congress government in Puducherry were serving people of all constituencies and not favouring just their own. Talking to reporters after Education Minister M.O.H.F. Shahjahan interacted with cadres at the party office, he said there was all round development and no region of the Union Territory was underdeveloped. “We have witnessed remarkable development in the last 10 years,” he said. Mr. Shahjahan said the party cadres presented petitions regarding transfers, infrastructure facilities and also gave suggestions pertaining to education, transport and Fisheries Department. “The PCC chief has requested that regular cultural programmes be conducted in rural areas ,” he said.
