13 activists arrested

CHIKMAGALUR: As many as 13 activists of the Bajrang Dal were arrested here on Wednesday when they demonstrated against a police official’s action in preventing them from erecting flags in connection with Datta Jayanti celebrations. They were arrested as the police were unconvinced that they had obtained permission to erect the flags at Hanumantappa Circle.

They were however, released later.
