Kala Pratibhotsava results announced

SHIMOGA: The following are the winners in the zonal level Kala Pratibhotsava (cultural competitions) held here under the auspices of the Department of Kannada and Culture on Monday and Tuesday.

The competitions were held in three categories for boys and girls of different age groups.

Nearly 200 boys and girls from nine districts participated in the competitions.

The results: Bala Pratibhe — Classical Dance: Vidya V. Bhat of Mangalore 1, Avanish D. of Mangalore 2 and Deepa Bhagwat of Karwar 3.

Light Music: Anusha Satish of Shimoga 1, Deeksha R. of Udupi 2 and S.G. Vaishakh of Shimoga 3.

Drawing: Divya N. Palekar of Karwar 1, Puja S. Kanade of Davangere 2 and Kavya Shree K.M. of Davangere 3.

Hindustani Instrumental Music: Sachin R. Idagunji of Karwar 1, Anand Heblikar of Dharwad 2 and Samatha Ramanath Nayak of Udupi 3.

Carnatic Classical Vocal Music: Usha H. Udupi of 1, Varada Kulkarni of Dharwad 2 and V.N. Pranava Swaroopa of Chikmagalur 3.

(Kishore Pratibhe) — Janapada Geete: Sridevi C. Mahant of Haveri 1, Jeevan C. of Davangere 2 and B.R. Akshatga of Mangalore 3.

Light Music: Sharadi Patil of Udupi 1, G.S. Aditya of Shimoga 2 and Ananya Harish of Mangalore 3.

Drawing: Krishnaraj Acharya of Udupi 1, Priyanka D. of Chitradurga 2 and Sindhuja G.N. of Davangere 3.

Classical Dance: Tejaswini B. of Mangalore 1, Chaitra of Udupi 2 and Renuka Upadhyaya 3.

Hindustani Classical Instrumental: Ankush N. Naik of Mangalore 1, Sushanth Ramanath Nayak of Udupi 2 and Megha G.D. of Shimoga 3.

Carnatic Classical Vocal: Krishna Pavan Kumar G.N. of Mangalore 1, M.B. Amuda of Shimoga 2 and Srisha G. Bhat of Udupi 3.

(Yuva Pratibhe) — Drawing: Ganapathi K. Kshatriya of Dharwad 1, R.M. Satyaprakash of Chikmagalur 2 and Krishna G.N. of Davangere 3.

Hindustani Classical Vocal: Anusha Bhat of Karwar 1, Jyothi Humbi of Haveri 2 and Lakshminarayan Bhat of Dharwad 3.

Carnatic Classical Instrumental: H.V. Rajeshwari Hosahalli 1, Akshit Seshadri of Shimoga 2 and H.G. Ganesh of Chitradurga 3.

Elocution: Yashaswini Amin B. of Mangalore 1, Sharada Tanka Keranduru of Mangalore 2 and Yasmin Taj H.M. of Shimoga 3.
