Thiruvananthapuram: Three members of a family were found dead in a house they had purchased recently near Nemom police station. The police identified the dead as Suresh Kumar, 46, secretary, Balaramapuram Service Cooperative Bank; his wife Kumari Padmam, 42, assistant manager, Kerala State Financial Enterprises, Neyyattinkara; and their daughter, Arya, 18. Arya was a B. Pharm. student at Thunchath Ezhuthachan College, Marayamuttom. Though the family had purchased the house recently, they were yet to occupy it. According to the police, the family was staying near Chamandushewari Temple at Balaramapuram. They may have come to the house last night. Financial difficulties are learnt to have led to the suicide, the police said. The Nemom police have registered a case. The bodies were handed over to their relatives after a post-mortem examination at the Medical College Hospital.
