District police sports meet in Haveri HAVERI: District Judge P.G. Nadagouda has said that games are essential for developing positive attitude, team spirit, and discipline. He was inaugurating a three-day district police sports meet at the Municipal High School Grounds here on Tuesday. He said sports also helped in developing leadership qualities and also for the overall personality development. Superintendent of Police G. Ramesh said that realising the need to promote sports as a means of human resources development, the department had organised the annual event. Additional Superintendent of Police K. Manjunath, Chief Executive Officer of the Haveri Zilla Panchayat K.S. Aralikatti, Deputy Commissioner P.S. Vastrad and Rajyotsava award winner John Deodhar were present.
