Jalandhar: Officials of the forest department on Wednesday caught a sambhar from the Khajurla village here. Range Forest Officer Sadhu Ram Bhatti said the villagers of the Khajurla informed him that a wild animal was roaming in the village after which they rushed to the spot and captured the sambhar near the primary school of the village with the help of the local residents. The animal was sent to the wildlife sanctuary situated in the Hoshiarpur district.
