State asked to file counter

Hyderabad: The division bench of High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice Bilal Nazki and Justice Ramesh Ranga Nathan on Wednesday directed the government to file counter in four weeks in a writ petition filed regarding relief to the farming community in the state. The bench was dealing with a writ petition filed by Nalla Surya Prakash, president of BSP State unit. The petitioner said that the farmers are committing suicides and the government has not taken action to provide relief. —Legal Correspondent
