Speed governors

Bangalore: All transport vehicles should be equipped with speed governors by the end of December 31 this year, according to a communiqué from the State Transport Department. In compliance with Karnataka High Court orders, all new transport vehicles should be equipped with them at the time of registration. All existing vehicles should also follow this rule January 1, 2008 onwards. — Staff Reporter
