Campaign boards released

Right guide: N.R. Natarajan, General Manager, BSNL, releasing a campaign board in Tuticorin on Wednesday.

Tuticorin: N.R. Natarajan, General Manager, BSNL, released the publicity campaign boards of ‘Short Stay Home’, a shelter home for women and adolescent girls functioning in the town, here on Wednesday.

The first display board was received by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Town sub-division), Mohammed Ghori. The boards, sponsored by the BSNL, would be displayed at 36 police stations and Government offices. The shelter home which was operated by Empower, an NGO, with the funding support of Central Social Welfare Board, offers protection to women/girls aged between 15 and 50 years, who were subjected to atrocities. Deputy General Manager (administration and planning) of BSNL Sankar Narayanan was also present.
